Yesterday Software Install

Hi Folks,
Yesterdays software installation took 6 HOURS!!!!!!
Well worth the wait though and also a reminder that I need to get a faster disc drive in my computer.

Today finishing off new Cue...sounding lovely!

New Software Installation

Another day in the studio...today I am installing new software, mega size..so taking hours to load as usual.
Can't wait to use the new software when it finally finishes loading!

Acoustic Guitar Sounds

The new cue started this week features the excellent nylon acoustic guitar sound supplied by the Independence Player from Yellow Tools.
When controlled and played in the right way, it's quite a convincing instrument, really nicely recorded.
Could do with a bit more "finger on strings" noise...but on the whole..lovely!

Useful looking site, with valuable info and even work opportunities.
It's amazing what resources are out there if you look hard enough!

Bristol Music Foundation

Alot of major Tv and film companies are based in Bristol, which is fairly close to where I live,so I thought it would be a good idea to join the Bristol Music Foundation.
Hopefully it will be a good opportunity to do some networking!

Studio Back in Action

Well...after a few days and some lovely work by the carpet fitters...the studio is now back in action and I'm eager to get back into the swing of things.
Have had a few requests to supply cues to some new production music libraries, so will commence next week with these.


Am also working as un-official music director of a new stage version of the very famous film "The Wickerman"
Won't take up too much of my time...but should be good fun.
